I am a primary care physician in the area and have always heard good things from patients about Hands On Physical Therapy. When I started having pains myself, I decided to give them a try. I had been to more traditional PT places in the past, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that at Hands On PT it was very different. I know that when my pain acts up, I can count on them to relieve it. I am also confident that they will help my patients that I refer to them, even when traditional therapy hasn’t helped.

“I had been to traditional physical therapy for my frozen shoulder in the past. At the other PT place I had attended, they were cranking on my arm, causing me severe pain. I was pleasantly surprised when I found Hands On Physical Therapy. The Myofascial Release that they were using was virtually painless and accomplished the goal much faster than the “no pain, no gain” philosophy that is so common at most physical therapy places!”

“I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Migraine Headaches, and Herniated Discs in my neck and lower back among other “labels”. I suffered with these conditions for 16 years! I had tried many traditional and alternative therapies including way too much medication, physical therapy, chiropractors, massage therapy etc. I had given up hope that anything would help me. My mother was attending Hands On Physical Therapy. She urged me to give them a try, explaining how they are so different. I did not listen to her at first. I did not want to be disappointed again; I mean I had already tried everything, right? Wrong! I got so sick and tired of listening to my mother bug me about going that I went just so she would be quiet! As I began receiving Myofascial Release treatments at Hands On PT, I intuitively knew this was important to my recovery. Something “felt right”. It so completely different than any other type of treatment that I had received before; and I received alot! Why didn’t my doctor recommend this? As my fascia was released I began to feel my pains dissipating and my energy levels returning. I had been out of work for 16 years, unable to do anything due to severe pain. I went back to school to become a massage therapist and I now specialize in Myofascial Release so that I can share my experience with my clients. Thank you Paul, and Pierre.

I find this therapy extremely helpful, anyone who has been in chronic pain and wants surgery to be the last resort this is worth the time and commitment. I know I’m sick of going to specialist after specialist with no real relief other than surgery, which I don’t have a lot of faith in. These therapists believe the everything is connected in the body which makes sense to me, my knees are killing me and so are my hips, oh and my lower back and yes my shoulder blades and neck, I’m a mess but no knife is going to fix it…a whole body approach is necessary. Just wish they took my insurance, major problem.
